This is a 1966 Pontiac GTO. I found this car in Augusta, Georgia. When I
found this car It was in decent condition, an older restoration showing its
age with rust spots here and there and an aging frost blue paint. After I
purchased it I had a PHS report done just to make sure it was the real deal.
Everything checked out, it is a Z code car built in Freemont California in
March of 66. The car started its life in Cameo white with a black vinyl
top and black interior. Originally it had a 389 4-barrel backed by a Munice
M 21 four speed with console. It still has its original 389 motor which was
evident that it was rebuilt not too long ago but it had a 3 speed turbo 350
automatic floor shift installed. The interior was perfect and had been
redone not too long ago and had 15 inch vintage American Racing mags.
The changes I have made since getting the car are as follows:
I had the car completely taken down to bare metal by Lopez paint and
body and had it painted GM Platinum.
One of my favorites.
